Here is the first engine run, taxi test and brake check.
Here you can see more custom metal work that we did. A Beech 18 cowling has been shortened along with a BT-13 dishpan being cut down in diameter.
From this angle you can see the custom 4 aileron configuration along with the headrest.
Here is a 450 Stearman that we did.
It has custom wing kits supplied by John at Big Sky.
Custom 4 ailerons with servo tabs on the lowers.
A 21 gallon header tank mounted between the firewall and front instrument panel.
A custom headrest, and tow hook.
It is covered in Poly Fiber and finished with Poly Tone on the fabric and Randolph Ranthane on the metal. Would not us Ranthane again on the metal. Next time back to what works great on metal, automotive paint.

This Stearman is also in Standard category.

A special thanks to my dad Don and good friend Gary Gabbard for all their hard work helping me finish this Stearman.

Here are the upper wings we built that are set up for ailerons. John at Big Sky supplied these great kits.
A BT-13 exhaust was rotated and a new outlet was welded on by Clinton Anderson at Custom Aircraft.
